Today, the Managing Director of the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund, Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, signed an Energy Services Agreement with the Mayor of Gjilan Municipality, Mr. Alban Hyseni. This agreement involves the implementation of energy efficiency measures at the “Abaz Ajeti” school, with an investment amount of 350 thousand euros.
Some of the energy efficiency measures that will be implemented at this school include thermal insulation of the building envelope, replacing windows and doors, replacing the lighting fixtures with efficient LED lighting, and installing a pellet boiler.
The number of direct beneficiaries from this investment of the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund is 1,200 people, while this project is supported by the EU Office in Kosovo, the World Bank, and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
