The Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund is close to finalizing investments in a significant number of projects as part of implementing energy efficiency measures in municipal public facilities. This project is funded by the European Union, the World Bank, and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, with the aim of achieving state objectives for energy saving and efficiency improvements to enhance the lives of citizens. Some of these projects will be inaugurated in the coming days.
Among the measures implemented in these facilities are: deep renovation of public buildings such as schools, healthcare centers, cultural institutions, kindergartens, etc. This includes thermal insulation of building envelopes (replacing windows and doors, insulating the building and roof), upgrading heating system (installation of thermal pumps and pellet boilers), installing lighting, and other efficient measures.
The following photos show the progress dynamics of the ongoing work in these projects.
