A two-day training session was held for Managers and Municipal Energy Officials from Municipalities in Kosovo organized by the Association of Kosovo Municipalities.
Present at the opening of the workshop was Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, the Managing Director of the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund, who along with the Executive Director of the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, Mr. Sazan Ibrahimi, addressed the attendees and agreed to strengthen cooperation with municipalities.
During the workshop supported by GIZ, discussions were held regarding future plans in the energy efficiency sector, with a particular focus on the residential sector. Suggestions were given by the respective panel.
Municipalities are essential partners of the Energy Efficiency Fund. Several efficiency measure projects are currently in progress, with successful completion of some projects anticipated in the upcoming months.
