The Municipality building and the Adem Jashari Cultural Center in Istog are the next projects that will benefit from the third package of investments in energy efficiency measures from the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund.
The measures that will be implemented in these two buildings include thermal insulation of the building envelope (insulating walls, windows, and roof efficiently), replacing the existing boiler with a more efficient one, cleaning the pipeline network, installing dynamic thermostatic valves to maintain internal temperatures according to required standards, and conducting electrical work such as replacing inefficient lighting fixtures with LED lighting. These investments total over 580 thousand euros and aim to save around 370 MWh per year, which is approximately 60% of the total consumption of these two buildings. The work is expected to be completed within this year.
