Besart Myderrizi

About Besart
Besart Myderrizi is a Senior Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank, based in Pristina,
Kosovo. He brings over a decade of experience in project management, economic policy,
governance reform, and private sector development. He has previously worked for several
USAID economic reform programs, as well as for the Ministry of Finance. He holds a Master of
Science in Economics and Public Policy from Bristol University and a Bachelor of Arts in
Economics from the American University in Bulgaria.
Myderrizi is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors of the Kosovo Energy Efficiency
Fund, appointed by June 2024.
