The Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund, established in 2019, has quickly gained recognition for its promotion of energy efficiency. Over the past two years, KEEF has implemented energy efficiency measures in 83 municipal public buildings. Additionally, they have recently launched a public call to subsidize 45% of investments for individual houses.
The dynamic work carried out to implement KEEF’s projects is supported by a highly professional team. The staff consists of experts in relevant fields, engineers with diverse backgrounds, architects, economists, lawyers, and other professionals.
On Women’s Day, KEEF is extremely proud to be an institution with successful projects, thanks to the great work of its female employees. Out of a total of 23 employees, 61% are women.
Njomza, Drita, Fitorja, and Gearda are engineers and architects whose names are the hallmarks of public projects and individual housing subsidies. Undoubtedly, they make up over half of the operations department at 57%.
Arita, Ardiana, Delvina, Nora, Arbnora, and Remzija are the women who support every other process, handling financial, legal, and administrative tasks, making up 64% of the other professionals.
Ardiana, Ardita and Anila make up 60% of the Fund’s management team, ensuring that every process is coordinated and progresses smoothly, with precision and in compliance with the law.
As one of the most important fields of our time, energy efficiency is progressing in the right direction, largely due to the significant impact of women and their unwavering dedication to achieving the institution’s goals.
The decision-making power of female professionals at the Fund is a prime example of reaching the overarching social goal of providing women with the equality they deserve.
Happy March 8th! Dream, dare, act!
